Later this month, First Mates, Last Laugh is turning a Wednesday afternoon into something worth making plans around, as Storm by the Sea brings together Champagne, a three-course lunch and fashion by the water.
Taking place on Wednesday, the 28th of October, the afternoon begins with Laurent-Perrier Champagne on arrival, followed by a second pour of Peregrine Rosé and a three-course lunch. The menu moves from warm sourdough with seaweed butter and a Caesar prawn tostada to a choice of grilled snapper with broccolini and yuzu butter, or roasted duck breast with beetroot and cherries, before finishing with raspberry and yoghurt mousse.
Across the afternoon, STORM will present its Summer 2026 collection, with the marina making a suitably polished backdrop for the brand’s latest pieces. It is less about a formal fashion show and more about the pleasure of having several good things happen at once: a long lunch, a few excellent pours, new-season fashion and an afternoon by the water.
There is also a meaningful reason to book, with $10 from every ticket going directly to Mercy Hospice. Guests will receive a goodie bag, and a $1,000 gift pack courtesy of First Mates, Last Laugh, STORM and COOLA will be given away on the day.
