SkyCity’s annual dining series, SERVED, returns this October and November, bringing two months of exclusive menus, one-off events and special collaborations to some of the precinct’s most celebrated restaurants and bars.
Running from the 1st of October until the 30th of November, this year’s programme spans Metita, The Grill, MASU, Huami, Fed Deli, Depot and Orbit 360, moving between Japanese, Pacific and New Zealand flavours while bringing together some of the country’s most recognisable chefs.
Dine your way to Japan
This year, SERVED comes with an added incentive: the chance to turn dinner into a trip to Japan. Spend $40 or more at a participating SERVED venue and guests will earn a stamp in their digital passport, with every stamp doubling as an entry to win a $5,000 travel voucher to Japan, courtesy of The House of Suntory.
The rewards build along the way, too: collect three stamps for complimentary parking, six for a $40 dining voucher towards your next visit, and nine or more for a five-star stay at Horizon by SkyCity. With nine stamps available across the campaign, every new venue visited brings another chance to win.
Three Sixty SERVED — Progressive Dinner at Orbit 360
Three of SkyCity’s most accomplished chefs come together for one evening high above Auckland, with Nic Watt, Michael Meredith and Al Brown each taking responsibility for one course and one country.
The progressive dinner begins in Japan with MASU’s Nic Watt, moves through the Pacific with Metita’s Michael Meredith, and finishes in New Zealand with Depot’s Al Brown, creating a three-course journey that makes full use of Orbit 360’s rather extraordinary setting.
When: Tuesday 6th October — $149 per person — book now.

The Seven-Course Omakase Series — MASU
Every Thursday throughout October and November, Nic Watt will host an intimate seven-course omakase at MASU, with each course cooked, plated and finished in front of guests.
Seasonal ingredients will guide the menu from week to week, while MASU’s signature precision and robata cooking give the experience its rhythm, making this one of SERVED’s more immersive ways to spend an evening.
When: Every Thursday throughout October and November — $188 per person — book now.
The Grill x Trinity Hill — Winemaker’s Dinner
The Grill will turn its attention to Hawke’s Bay for an evening devoted to wine, provenance and some exceptional New Zealand produce, with Trinity Hill’s winemakers joining the restaurant for a specially matched dinner.
Each course will pair Trinity Hill wines with Mapari meats, creating an evening shaped around the relationship between vineyard, land and plate.
When: Thursday 19th November

Huami Garden Yum Cha Weekends
Huami is giving the weekend yum cha ritual a more generous treatment throughout November, with a long lunch built around seafood, handcrafted dim sum and larger shared plates served in the garden. The menu begins with a Taste of the Sea before the yum cha trolley arrives, followed by Peking-style duck, beef short rib and steamed market fish, with mochi, Cantonese egg tarts and red bean rice cakes to finish. Each set menu also includes a glass of Perrier-Jouët per person, or a half bottle to share between two.
When: Saturdays & Sundays in November, 11.30am–2.30pm — $88 per person — book now.
Alongside its one-off events, SERVED will see several of SkyCity’s restaurants offer special menus throughout October and November, giving guests another way to experience the programme across the two-month series.

The Grill
At The Grill, the focus falls on one of the restaurant’s signatures, with seasonal snacks from the kitchen followed by Beef Wellington carved tableside, served with seasonal greens and the restaurant’s 50/50 mash. Petit fours bring the menu to a suitably polished close.
Price: $99 per person — book now.

MASU
MASU’s SERVED menu moves through a selection of the restaurant’s Japanese specialities, beginning with edamame and a chirashi taco before chef’s sashimi selection arrives at the table.
For the main event, guests can choose between grilled chicken with tare sauce, salmon teriyaki or lamb rack, accompanied by flame-grilled green beans and furikake rice.
When: Sunday – Wednesday, 5–6pm and 8pm — $65 per person — book now.

Metita
Michael Meredith’s Metita brings the flavours of the Pacific to SERVED with a menu that begins with kingfish and kiwi oka before moving into BBQ chicken leg with maukeni and koko.
Kale cooked in pe’epe’e and a fresh vine tomato salad accompany the main course, before pudina nui finishes the experience on a distinctly Pacific note.
When: Wednesday & Thursday — $55 per person — book now.

Stirred and SERVED at SkyCity
And for those looking to extend the experience beyond the table, The House of Suntory will also take over the precinct’s bars with Stirred and SERVED, a series of cocktails built around Roku Gin, Toki Whisky and Haku Vodka, with drinks starting from $20.
