Lebanese Grocer
“Shawarma, spice and everything nice.”

The Lebanese Grocer may appear to be a humble deli, but it doubles as one of the city’s most delightful casual eateries. Helmed by chef Elie Assaf (ex-Milenta), this spot dishes out authentic Lebanese street food that’s big on flavour and generosity. Shawarma wraps are stuffed to bursting with spiced lamb and pickles, falafel are fried crisp to order, and their house-made dips (hummus, toum, muhammara) will ruin you for store-bought forever. Shelves are stocked with Middle Eastern spices, olive oils and sweets if you want to take a bit of Beirut home. With its cheerful hospitality and mouth-watering aromas, Lebanese Grocer proves that sometimes the best meals are found in the most unassuming places.
