Summer is well on its way, and when it comes to the season of grilling, you can either barbecue, or you can barbecue. Setting the bar for a memorable grilling (and eating) experience, the masters of meat at Jervois Steak House have unveiled a carnivorous curation, ready to be delivered to your doorstep.
Easily dubbed the ‘ultimate meat pack’, Executive Chef Gareth Stewart and the team at JSH are offering you access to their restaurant quality cuts, gourmet hand-crafted sausages and all the finest of sauces and accompaniments in a comprehensive five-day menu for you to take away and enjoy at the bach. To give you a mouth-watering example, day one’s menu — ‘Scotch and Chook’ — encompasses four gorgeous 300g Wakanui beef Scotch steaks, Cafe de Paris butter, JSH ketchup and mustard, and a butterfly free-range chicken doused in a Peruvian spice. Day two — Darling Downs Wagyu and Snags Night — will see you tucking into a stunning whole Darling Downs Wagyu eye fillet with plenty of horseradish and smoked garlic marinade and a generous serving of Culpeper’s signature lamb sausages. Coming to you complete with easy-to-follow instructions, each kit features delectables to suit adults and kids alike, and come in two sizes — the ‘Gold BBQ Kit’ will serve 4-6 adults for five days while the ‘Platinum’ will do the same for 7-10 adults. And, for those keen to add a few fritters to the mix, there is also the option to add the South Island Whitebait to your order too.
