Prestigious Italian beer brand, Peroni, has launched its first, premium 0.0% alcohol lager

There’s nothing quite like ending a long day with a refreshing bottle of Peroni. Especially if it’s enjoyed in a sunny outdoor spot and paired with a tasty charcuterie board. But sometimes, we just want to enjoy the crisp taste of Peroni without the alcohol — because we either don’t feel like drinking or because we can’t.

Fortunately, Peroni Nastro Azzurro has solved this conundrum with the recent release of its Peroni Libera 0.0%, marking the first time the brand has launched a non-alcoholic beer on the New Zealand market. Taking the signature Nostrano dell’lsola Maize used in the Peroni we already know and love, the expert brewers have combined this with two-row spring barley and a dedicated yeast strain to ensure that no trace of alcohol is left in the final product.

With its rich and intense flavour profile — where citrusy freshness meets a subtle fruity aroma, followed by a clean and semi-bitter finish — Peroni Libera 0.0% boasts the same luxurious qualities of refreshing flavour and passionate, Italian craftsmanship as its regular counterpart, without any presence of alcohol. And aside from being delicious in its own right, it will allow New Zealanders to indulge in the archetypal Peroni experience, anytime, anywhere.

The new Peroni Libera 0.0% is available in selected supermarkets and retail stores around New Zealand from Monday, 7th October.
