Come rain or shine, winter or summer, there’s never been a time where we’ve found it appropriate to turn down the delectable morsels and artful brews (and, if you fancy, Champagne) that comprise a quality high tea. That’s why we were overjoyed to hear that Mission Bay Pavilion is championing the fanciful art of finger food and serving up a ‘High Tea by the Sea’ experience weekdays at their waterfront eatery.
Head chef Cobus Klopper is set to delight with a range of exquisite sweet treats from the pastry kitchen. The likes of red velvet cakes topped generously with cream cheese icing, zesty lemon meringue tartlets and decadent coconut and white chocolate slices will be served alongside salmon, chicken and traditional cucumber sandwiches. In addition to the Noble & Savage teas on offer, during the month of June, those partial to a more devilish beverage can opt for a glass (or bottle, we’re not here to judge) of Champagne Mumm for a celebratory price.
