Before the Wallabies and All Blacks go head-to-head in Auckland on Saturday 7th August, get match-ready with alumnus Adam Thomson. The Rugby World Cup and Bledisloe Cup winner will be hosting a four-course lunch at Harbourside next Saturday, as our home team prepares to defend the title once again.
The banquet of champions starts with a mixed sushi roll selection, sashimi platter or natural market oysters, before an entrée of chilled tiger prawns, chicken katsu or Wagyu beef dumplings. After a pep-talk, the main course will be served with a coastal rib rye, crispy skin market fish or duo of duck confit leg. To finish there will be sweet petits fours and a chef’s selection of New Zealand cheeses.
From Harbourside’s waterfront spot in Britomart, there are easy transport options to Eden Park for ticket holders — or you can stay a while and watch the game on live TV in the convivial restaurant atmosphere.
Tickets are $125 per person, plus a booking fee, and include a four-course banquet lunch with a Heineken on arrival. Groups of 10 can purchase a table for $1200.
