Euro’s irresistible new bar menu is transporting us straight to Paris

As much as we would love to be winging our way on a romantic trip to the city of lights, we’ll have to settle for the next best thing which, locally, is Euro’s seasonal celebration of everything Parisian — not that we’re disappointed, mind you. For the month of July, Euro is inviting us to shrug off any winter blues with an irresistible cocktail and Champagne offer, complete with suitably delicious bar snacks.

Specially curated by the eatery’s resident Francophile mixologist, Katie Cramphorn, the Paris Je T’aime bar menu comprises three Parisian-inspired cocktails and a flute of G.H.Mumm Champagne for only $40. The cocktails themselves are characteristically moreish, with three varieties to choose from.

Fans of orchard flavours will love the Appletizer, which mixes Calvados (apple brandy), with pear, apple cordial, Ricard and soda, while Midnight in Paris conjures unforgettable nights in the French capital with cognac, apricot, raspberry and Champagne. The Chocolate Orange Negroni is for those who like a darkly complex drop, comprising cacao nibs, orange zest, gin, Campari and sweet vermouth.

If you’re off the booze, Euro’s alcohol-free Citrus & Spice cocktail is equally as delicious as its traditional counterparts and is part of Euro’s general winter cocktail menu. It contains Seedlip Spice 94, lemon and cardamom cordial, blueberry and soda — so non-drinkers or Dry July participants needn’t feel as though you’re missing out.

Executive Chef Gareth Stewart has created a trio of mouth-watering bites, which can be added to the cocktails for $20 as the ideal accompaniment. You can expect duck liver and foie gras parfait with espresso syrup and pistachio; truffle toast with mushrooms duxelles and housemade baguette; and charcoal-grilled oyster mushrooms with chives and truffle. While they may be succinct mouthfuls, these ingenious snacks impart a big hit of flavour — even better when washed down with an expertly mixed cocktail or two.

To celebrate the launch of Euro’s Paris Je T’aime bar menu, we have a cocktail-and-snacks experience to give away for four people.
