Bang Bang China Cafe is a new, tucked-away Asian eatery you need to know about

When it comes to tasty Asian fare, we can never get enough, so it was music to our ears when we heard that Viaduct Harbour was getting its own laid-back Chinese eatery, Bang Bang China Cafe. Located within the newly opened Saint Alice, Bang Bang is a simplistic, cafeteria-like room with an open kitchen helmed by ex-Huami chef Bill Yang.

Serving up dim sum and dumplings, tasty pork spare ribs, chicken buns, beef brisket noodle soup and fish fried rice (to name a few) each dish exhibits the quality and finesse of a well-trained chef. Littered with fun touches like the hungry red octopus mural and a late night karaoke machine, (the team behind Dr Rudi’s always knew how to throw in a gimmicky touch done well), Bang Bang is set to be a well-frequented culinary fixture.
