Win a night’s stay at SKYCITY thanks to this tasty MASU x Asahi collab

Exquisite Japanese fare, quality libations and an all-round great vibe — MASU by Nic Watt, in our eyes, has always been the perfect package. In fact, we’ve always been of the firm stance that the SKYCITY restaurant couldn’t possibly get any better, until recently. Cue: the Asahi x MASU love affair. In celebration of the beloved Japanese beer now being available on tap, the restaurant will be plying customers with a beer-inspired extravaganza, comprising prizes, offers and giveaways — for which we’re gladly eating our words.

Kicking off with a Happy Hour menu for the month of October, between 5pm-6pm you will be able to purchase a pour of ice cold, thirst-quenching Asahi and pair it with one of the restaurant’s renowned plates — think charred Romaine with nori truffle butter or the chicken hearts yakitori — for just $10 a pop. Also, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the Asahi fortune cookies; they’re only available during happy hour and make the perfect novelty bar snack.

Not only will there be offers and prizes to be won at the restaurant itself (including everything from hotel stays to Nic Watt cookbooks), here at Denizen we’re also giving one lucky reader the chance to revel in a night of divine consumption. In conjunction with Asahi, we’re giving away a one-night stay for two guests at the SKYCITY Hotel alongside a $150 MASU food voucher. Interested? Of course you are.
