Milan Design Week returned with aplomb this year, marking its 60th iteration after a three-year hiatus from its full-scale event. Widely acknowledged as the world’s preemininet furniture event, Milan Design Fair transforms the global fashion capital into the ultimate design destination, with more than 2,000 international exhibitors and events that unveil new pieces from iconic brands, groundbreaking ideas for sustainable design and promising up-and-comers who want to stake their claim in the industry. Over the course of the week, a raft of exhibitions and pop-ups are scattered though every corner of Milan, with various satellite events touching on different themes and spaces, and something for everyone to marvel at or ponder over.

From the Fuorisalone (in the heart of the city) to the Salone Del Mobile (just outside the city centre) the vast and varied offering of this year’s Milan Design Week resulted in the emergence of some truly special pieces across indoor and outdoor furniture and lighting.
