Dior and I
Directed by: Frédéric Tcheng
Screening: Wednesday 17th February, from 8.30pm
An absolute must see, Dior and I presents us with an unprecedented glimpse into the workroom of distinguished fashion house Christian Dior, with a behind the scenes look at the creation of Raf Simons first haute couture collection. Directed byFrédéric Tcheng (Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has To Travel), Dior and I shows off the incredible talent involved in bringing Simon’s visions to life, and reveals the pressure and struggle involved in balancing creativity and business.

Starring: Iris Apfel, Carl Apfel
Directed by:
Albert Maysles
Screening: Wednesday 24th February, 8.30pm
Iris Apfel has been part of the New York fashion scene for decades, and is well known for her work as an interior decorator and textile designer. In 2005, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City premiered an exhibition called Rara Avis (Rare Bird): The Irreverent Iris Apfel displaying the incredible collection of clothing and costume jewellery she’s accumulated over the years. This exhibition turned Iris, a hard working, vibrant woman originally from Queens, into a “geriatric starlet”. Regardless of whether you like her style, it’s impossible not to love Iris captured here by the late, great filmmaker Albert Maysles.
