The Friday Feed: this guy depicts gangster rappers and sneakers using sushi

Yujia Hu (aka @theonigiriart) has an uncanny gift for crafting pop culture iconography out of sushi ingredients. He might not be able to fully express himself during his day job, working as a chef at his parents’ restaurant in Milan, but when he gets down time, he gets busy creating everything from Air Jordans to Adidas NMDs and gangster rappers like Gucci Mane and Migos (pictured above). What has come to be described as ‘Shoe-shi’ is an extraordinarily intricate assembly of rice, seaweed and sashimi that we believe is worthy of a spot on your Friday Instagram Feed.
