Poised to be a signature event of the New Zealand Festival of Photography, Chris Corson-Scott’s We Passed the Setting Sun will be the talented local photographer’s second solo show at Trish Clark Gallery. Showing a series of evocative imagery that plays on the dichotomy between history and the present, your eyes will fall on the striking imagery of the sun setting on the cliffs of the Awhitu Peninsula, images of The Frank Sargeson House and vistas of Esmonde Road and Takapuna — all markers of Auckland’s physical and socio- cultural expansion.
‘We Passed the Setting Sun’ will show at Trish Clark Gallery from 14th June – 15th July.
