Icy blue jewellery is having a moment this season — here’s how to nail the trend

Diamonds might be forever but this spring, it seems coloured stones are not to be outshined. And in what can only be described as mainstream fashion’s newfound penchant for maximalism (blame the noughties revival), we find ourselves overlooking understated jewels in favour of more attention-grabbing pieces.

But whether it’s a detailed tennis bracelet, a sculptural ring or a pair of dangling earrings, icy blues are coming through as the tones everyone is touting. That said, we thought it high time we rounded up some of our favourite blue-stoned pieces from Sutcliffe Jewellery to hopefully lend inspiration.

Left: Sutcliffe Jewellery diamond tennis bracelets, Modern Love diamond bracelet, Sapphire Headliner blue sapphire and diamond ring, Artful Adornment black spinel ring and 16ct blue sapphire ring. | Right, clockwise from top: The Luminary ring, The Occasion aquamarine earrings, Oceans Bounty ring,Modern Love diamond bracelet, Something Blue sapphire and diamond ring, grain set diamond tennis bracelet, all from Sutcliffe Jewellery
