Starting in 2016 with a refined selection of menswear, Dadelszen’s offering has grown exponentially. Now including accessories and exquisite womenswear, the brand’s beloved Britomart showroom could no longer accommodate its expansion, necessitating a move to a space that could showcase Dadelszen’s ready-to-wear collections and house its bespoke operations.
Having left Britomart’s Buckland Building behind, the luxurious label is headed for Parnell, set to open a spacious showroom on the ground floor in the historic Textile Centre near St. Georges Bay Road. A space that will be brought to life by Cheshire Architects to encapsulate the brand’s elegance, attitude and penchant for recontextualising elements of the past in a sartorially modern way, designer Edward von Dadelszen stipulates that it will offer “a new immersive, unique and profoundly personalised experience.” It’s due to open on 7th August.
Between now and then, Dadelszen will be setting up an immersive retail experience at Design 55 called ‘The Living Room’. Incorporating furniture, art and homewares to complement the brand’s Winter collection, Dadelszen, in association with Gow Langsford gallery, ensured everything in the space was expertly curated to create an environment that was all-encompassing of its ethos.
From 5th July until 4th August Dadelszen will be at Design 55, 55 Upper Queen St, Eden Terrace. Its new, permanent showroom will open 7th August at the Textile Centre, 1 Kenwyn Street, Parnell.
