Hedleys x Karen Walker Bookstore
Based in Masterton, Hedleys is a family-run bookstore and boutique publisher, known for its limited and special editions. Recently it has teamed up with Karen Walker to establish a pop-up concept store in Britomart, and has curated the space with a raft of beautiful books, perfect for sinking your teeth into over the summer months. Hedleys is also using the pop-up as an opportunity to sell the final 600 copies of the limited-edition Blinds & Shutters by renowned photographer Michael Cooper — famously the man responsible for The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover. Featuring over 600 photos of the most iconic cultural figures from the 1960s and having only had a print run of 5,000, this incredible book will prove the perfect gift for anyone who gets nostalgic for the era of Warhol, Twiggy and The Rolling Stones. Open until Christmas.
