a blissful union

An American beauty brand and a Queenstown foot spa join forces in a match made in spa heaven.

Achieving cult status can be a rather difficult feat in the hugely competitive world of beauty, but one brand that has done just that is Bliss Spa. After the first spa opened in Soho, New York, celebrities and spa snobs alike fell for the brand’s luxurious treatments, all of which were dished up with an absolute assurance of results. And when the spa could no longer keep up with the demand from clients, they released a range of Bliss Spa take home products; all infused with the same addictive blend of scientific research and blissful ingredients to ensure results.

Packed with the same spa-strength benefits that you would experience in a Bliss spa, the products do what their labels’ suggest. They tone, buff, moisturise, tighten, bronze and refresh bodies the world over. Fortunately for us, the cult beauty brand has recently found its way to New Zealand at the new Spring Foot Spa in Queenstown.

A social spa concept developed by the people at East Day Spa, Spring Foot Spa offers a range of foot-focused mini treatments, from massage to reflexology to pedicures, as well as serving up other spa staples such as manicures, facials, threading and waxing. Spring Foot Spa now exclusively stock Bliss’s revered products, including one of our favourites, the Blood Orange+White Pepper sugar scrub. Inspired by a particularly memorable cocktail, the scrub smells uncannily like freshly peeled oranges, the white pepper adding in a warming treatment to your skin as the super sloughing sugar smoothes and softens. It’s an essential addition to the winter beauty regime if you wish to be radiant all year round.

A welcome addition to Queenstown’s lifestyle offerings, Spring will no doubt be busy preforming Bliss Spa treatments for all those exhausted skiers and snowboarders this bumper ski season.
