gastronomy

the hangover helper you can make at home

Story by Harriet Johnstone

For those days after indulging when the wine flu has you down, these dreamy little sticks are sure to help set you on the road to recovery. Cold, refreshing and packed full vitamins, they can’t cure your filthy hangover (we’re still waiting on such an elixir to be invented) but they sure can soften it.

Ingredients
80g fresh ginger
1 whole cucumber
1 cup coconut water
2 tablespoon honey
1 lime, zested and juiced

Method
Grate the ginger then press through a sieve to collect the juice. Pop it into a blender with all the other ingredients and whizz until smooth. Pour into moulds with a sliver of cucumber and freeze until solid. Try to enjoy.
