1885 members’ party
A night to remember at one of the Britomart precincts infamous hot spots.
On Saturday night, Auckland’s 1885 hosted a private party to thank its loyal membership for their ongoing patronage. In just under two short years 1885 has become the pinnacle of the Auckland social scene, and its private members’ basement bar has been legendary in hosting all manor of fabulous hoopla and hullabaloo.
Celebrating what the bar has become renowned for in its short existence, the evening was a spectacular affair. Lucky guests were transported to the venue in limousines complete with Dom Pérignon 2003 flowing for the passengers.
After navigating the red carpet guests were rewarded with glasses of Moët. The evening’s entertainment included sets by Ladi6 and Annabel Fay, both doing a rousing job of getting the crowd to cut shapes on the dance floor, no doubt further fuelled by delicious cocktails crafted from Belvedere Vodka and Stolen Rum, and the ever popular Moa Beer.
The guests were an eclectic bunch of our city’s finest and most revelrous individuals – making for a truly memorable affair.
