The 1885 Basement sets the tone for Room 104 and 1885′s newest strictly mens only event.
It’s always a struggle to find seemly weeknight entertainment that’s just for ‘the boys’. Noting the absence of good clean weeknight fun, the lads at 1885 have teamed up with men’s grooming factory Room 104 to create a unique event called ‘The Hideaway’.
If you have anything remotely resembling a game face and can count to 21, then this unique event should be added to your monthly social agenda. The Hideaway will see the transformation of the 1885 basement bar into a speakeasy that will play host to a few hearty rounds of Black Jack. Its not hard to imagine the revelry that will ensue from a room full of blokes anticipating their next card, while drinking 12 year-old whisky and avoiding any displays of poor sportsmanship.
With only a limited number of seats available you’ll need to email your interest early to secure a place. The Hideaway is a monthly event and is destined to become popular for blokes wanting a bit of man time away from their weekday woes. Kicking off this Thursday from 7pm, ‘The Hideaway’ will either be a long or short night out, depending on your Black Jack skills.
